(13 / 10 / 2025) SME Solar and Electrical Fundamentals

We seek a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to develop high-quality, engaging instructional content for a Solar and Electrical Fundamentals course. The SME will collaborate with a cross-functional team to create accurate, standards-aligned interactive media and learning materials covering PV systems, electrical basics, energy storage, and comprehensive workplace safety (including OSHA regulations).

Course Topics

The curriculum encompasses :

• PV and Electrical Fundamentals : PV Systems (Introduction, Components, Types), Electricity Fundamentals, Basic Circuit Concepts, Circuit Design, System Protection, and Environmental / Design Considerations.
• Energy Storage and Power : Battery Systems, Energy Storage, Generators, and Backup Power.
• Workplace Safety (OSHA Aligned) : Introduction to OSHA, PPE, Hazard Communication, and safety protocols for Walking / Working Surfaces, Ladders / Scaffolding, Electrical, Battery, Fire, Construction, Materials Handling, Machines, and Bloodborne Pathogens.
