About bepay

bepay money is a non-custodial Web3 super app for seamless, secure, and fast payments across fiat, crypto, and CBDCs. We’re building decentralized payment rails that connect users, merchants, and institutions with instant, low-cost, and interoperable settlement infrastructure. Our mission is to make blockchain-based payments mainstream — secure, compliant, and invisible in the user experience.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Backend Developer (5+ years) with strong expertise in scalable API design, system architecture, and clean, maintainable code. You’ll work closely with the blockchain, mobile, and infrastructure teams to build secure, high-performance services that power real-time payments, user identity, and wallet integrations.

You should have a solid grasp of distributed systems, microservices, and security best practices for fintech or Web3 environments.

What You’ll Work On

Designing and implementing RESTful and GraphQL APIs with Node.js
Architecting and maintaining scalable backend systems using clean architecture principles
Building secure integrations with blockchain modules, payment gateways, and third-party APIs
Optimizing application performance, latency, and database queries
Implementing authentication, authorization, and transaction workflows
Designing microservices and event-driven systems for scalability and fault tolerance
Writing clean, testable, and well-documented code following industry best practices
Working with DevOps teams to deploy and monitor applications on AWS / GCP / Docker / Kubernetes
Collaborating with frontend and mobile developers to ensure smooth API integrations

You Should Know

Minimum 5 years of backend development experience (preferably in fintech or high-scale systems)

Strong in Node.js, Express.js or NestJS , and TypeScript

Excellent understanding of Clean Architecture , modular code design, and domain-driven development

Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

Solid knowledge of microservices, queues, and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar)

Understanding of CI / CD pipelines , Docker , and cloud deployment (AWS / GCP)

Experience implementing secure, high-performance REST APIs

Familiarity with blockchain or payment infrastructure is a strong plus

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to write optimized, production-grade code
