Job description

Subject / Business Knowledge :

1. Regulatory Knowledge : Preferable

Preferably In-depth understanding of financial regulations (e.g., MiFID, Dodd-Frank, EMIR, Basel III).
Familiarity with FCC Risks (anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF); Fraud, Sanctions, ABC etc).

2. Financial Markets Expertise : Mandatory

Knowledge of financial instruments (e.g., equities, bonds, derivatives, forex, M&A).

Foundational understanding of market operations, trading practices, and market conduct.

3. Risk Management : Mandatory

Ability to identify and assess compliance and financial crime risks.

Proficiency in developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.

4. Advisory Skills : Preferable

Experience in providing compliance advisory services to business units.

Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable business practices.

5. Analytical Skills : Preferable

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to identify patterns and trends related to compliance and financial crime.

Soft Skills-Mandatory :

1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

2. Ability to articulate complex regulatory concepts in a clear and concise manner.

3. Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
