Role Overview :
As a UI / UX Designer with 4–6 years of professional experience, you will own the end-to-end design process—from user research and wireframing through high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, front-end developers and Project leads to ensure cohesive user journeys and polished visual interfaces.
Key Responsibilities :
User Experience (UX)
- Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and contextual inquiries, to uncover pain points and opportunities.
- Create user personas, customer journey maps, site maps, and information architectures to guide product strategy.
- Develop low- to mid-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) for usability testing.
- Run A / B tests, analyze usability metrics, and iterate designs based on quantitative and qualitative feedback.
User Interface (UI)
Design pixel-perfect, responsive visual layouts and components adhering to brand guidelines and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).Maintain and evolve design systems (tokens, libraries, documentation) for consistency across web and mobile platforms.Collaborate with front-end engineers to translate designs into production-ready code (CSS-in-JS, Tailwind, Storybook).Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with project leads and engineers in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) to align on priorities and deliverables.Present design rationale and trade-offs to Project leads and Managers and team, championing user-centered decisions at every stage.Mentor junior designers and conduct peer critiques to elevate team design maturity.Required Qualifications
UX Expertise :
4–6 years crafting end-to-end UX flows for web and mobile products, with a solid portfolio of research-driven projectsProficiency in user-centered design methods : user interviews, usability testing, card sorting, and heuristic evaluations.Advanced skills in wireframing and prototyping tools : Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure RP.. UI MasteryStrong visual design sensibility : typography, color theory, iconography, and layout principles.Experience building and maintaining component-based design systems and working knowledge of HTML / CSS and react fundamentals.Familiarity with responsive and adaptive design patterns across multiple breakpoints.Tools & Technologies
Expertise with design hand-off tools : Zeplin, InVision, Abstract, or Figma Inspect.Basic understanding of front-end technologies (React, CSS-in-JS) to collaborate effectively with developers.Experience with version control for design files (Figma branching, Abstract workflows).Research & Analysis
Skilled in qualitative and quantitative research methods, including analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar, Mixpanel).Ability to derive insights from data, synthesize findings, and translate into actionable design improvements.Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing for enterprise-grade or defense-critical applications.Familiarity with motion design principles and tools (Principle, After Effects, Lottie).Knowledge of accessibility audit tools (axe, WAVE) and inclusive design best practices.Exposure to service-design or content-strategy disciplines.Soft Skills
