Location

Vadodara, Gujarat (with expansion scope across Gujarat & India)

Purpose

Lead and manage the Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) Premium Fresh Milk (subscription-based) and value-added dairy products business in Vadodara city by driving customer acquisition, retention, sales growth, operational excellence, logistics, and brand visibility. The Sales Leader will be solely responsible for end-to-end sales, marketing, and last-mile delivery management.

Candidate Profile

  • Must have prior work experience in Vadodara and strong knowledge of local demographics
  • Solely responsible for sales, marketing & logistics / D2C delivery management
  • Education : Any graduate; MBA preferred in Sales & Marketing
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in D2C Milk / Dairy product sales
  • Additional FMCG sales & marketing experience is strongly preferred

  • Customer Acquisition & Subscription Growth
  • – Achieve monthly subscription targets of new customers
  • KPI : Number of new subscribers per month

  • Customer Retention & Experience
  • – Maintain high customer satisfaction and reduce churn.
  • KPI : Retention rate & churn percentage
  • Benchmark : ≥ 90% retention, ≤ 5% churn monthly

  • Revenue & Profitability Growth
  • – Drive recurring revenue through subscriptions and upsell value-added products (curd, paneer, buttermilk, ghee).
  • KPI : Monthly recurring revenue (MRR)

  • Distribution & Delivery Management
  • – Ensure efficient last-mile delivery and logistics for customer orders.
  • KPI : On-time delivery rate
  • Benchmark : ≥ 95% on-time delivery
  • 5.

  • Marketing & Brand Visibility
  • – Plan and execute hyperlocal campaigns in Vadodara to strengthen brand presence and app adoption.
  • KPI : Campaign ROI, app adoption, brand visibility
  • Benchmark : ROI ≥ 3x on digital spends

  • Sales Team Leadership
  • – Recruit, train, and manage a small high-performance sales and delivery team.
  • KPI : Team productivity vs. target
  • Benchmark : ≥ 90% target achievement
  • 7.

  • Compliance & Quality Assurance
  • – Ensure adherence to hygiene, FSSAI, timely delivery and customer service standards.
  • KPI : Timely Delivery & Customer complaints resolved within SLA
  • Competency Requirements

  • Strong sales leadership experience in D2C / E-commerce business models
  • Proven track record in subscription growth and retention
  • Excellent understanding of dairy / FMCG sector and consumer behavior
  • Deep knowledge of Vadodara city market and customer demographics
  • Digital marketing, analytics, and customer lifecycle management skills
  • Team management, communication, and leadership abilities
