🚀 Join Our Data Engineering Team in Mumbai! (5-8 Yrs Exp.)

We're looking for an experienced and driven Data Engineer to join our team in Mumbai. If you are passionate about building scalable, high-performance data platforms and mentoring the next generation of engineers, this role is for you!

This is a Full-Time role with exciting short / medium-term travel opportunities both within India and internationally.

🔍 What You'll Be Doing

  • Design & Build : Develop, optimize, and manage large-scale, distributed data pipelines (batch & streaming).
  • Architecture : Implement robust data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to power advanced analytics and AI / ML initiatives.
  • Performance : Drive performance tuning, monitoring, and reliability for mission-critical data solutions.
  • Collaboration : Work directly with clients and cross-functional teams, translating complex business needs into technical solutions.
  • Mentorship : Write clean, modular, and production-ready code, and mentor junior engineers on engineering best practices.

🌟 Must-Have Core Skills

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience and possess the following :

  • Programming : Strong Python and Advanced SQL expertise.
  • Data Fundamentals : Deep understanding of ETL / ELT, data modeling (OLTP / OLAP), and warehousing concepts.
  • Distributed Processing : Experience with a distributed framework like Apache Spark or Flink.
  • Core Language : Exposure to Java is Manda tory.
  • Orchestration : Hands-on experience with tools like Airflow or similar.
  • DevOps : Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and Git version control.
  • Scalability : Proven ability to debug, optimize, and scale data pipelines in production environments.

    • 💡 Big Pluses (Good to Have)

  • Cloud Platform : Experience on any major cloud platform ( AWS preferred ; GCP or Azure).
  • Data Tools : Exposure to Databricks , dbt , or Snowflake .
  • Certifications : AWS Data Analytics, Solutions Architect, or Databricks certifications.
