ETL Testing

Key Responsibilities :

• Understand business and technical requirements for data warehouse and ETL projects.
• Design, develop, and execute ETL test cases , test plans , and test scripts .
• Validate source-to-target data mappings and transformations.
• Perform data validation, data reconciliation, and regression testing.
• Write complex SQL queries to validate data loads and transformations.
• Identify, log, and track data defects using tools like JIRA , Bugzilla , or HP ALM .
• Work closely with ETL developers, data analysts, and business teams to ensure data accuracy.
• Automate data testing tasks where feasible using ETL test automation frameworks .
• Document all test results and provide regular status updates.
