Position : SAP MM / WM Consultant

Experience : 8+ Years

Location : Kharadi, Pune (Hybrid)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP MM / WM Consultant with a minimum of 8 years of expertise to join our team in Kharadi, Pune. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in both the Materials Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM) modules of SAP. This role requires a hands-on professional who can handle end-to-end configuration, provide ongoing support, and manage projects from implementation to rollout. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless inventory and warehouse operations, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP MM / WM Configuration and Support :

Perform end-to-end configuration, customization, and support for the SAP MM and WM modules.
Work on diverse projects, including implementation, rollout, and support, for large client engagements.
Manage all aspects of MM functionalities, including Master Data (Material, Vendor, Info Records), Pricing Procedures, Release Strategies, and Inventory Management (Goods Receipt, Movement Types).
Configure and manage SAP WM processes, such as warehouse layout, picking and put-away strategies, Handling Units, and Storage Units.

Process Management and Optimization :

Demonstrate expertise in Material Requirement Planning (MRP) concepts for procurement.

Handle Stock Transport Orders (STOs) for both intercompany and intracompany transactions.

Implement and manage specialized processes like Kanban and Just-in-Time (JIT).

Integrate SAP WM with external systems, including RF devices and, where applicable, third-party shipping systems.

Technical and Analytical Skills :

Work proficiently with SAP MM / WM tables, function modules, and BAPIs.

Provide expert knowledge in inventory management and warehouse operations to identify and resolve complex issues.

Utilize strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address system challenges in a hybrid work environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Core Experience :

Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM / WM.

At least one full end-to-end implementation or one rollout project experience.

Functional & Technical Proficiency :

In-depth functional knowledge of SAP MM and WM processes.

Strong understanding of MM master data, pricing, and release strategies.

Expertise in WM configuration, including bin management, sort / search sequences, and movement types.

Experience with SAP WM integration with RF devices.

Preferred Skills :

Strong experience in SAP ERP support for large client engagements.

Experience with SAP MM / WM integration with third-party shipping systems.

Familiarity with Barcode printing and shipping processes via Transportation Management.
