Job descriptionStrong proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, React.js, MongoDB, and RESTful API development. Experience in microservices architecture, scalable system design, and API security. Hands-on experience with AWS / Azure / GCP cloud services for app deployment. Sound understanding of CI / CD, version control (Git), and DevOps pipelines. Ability to identify and resolve architectural bottlenecks and optimize performance. Prior experience in hospitality or service-based application development is a plus. Excellent project management and cross-functional team coordination skills. Strong communication and ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders. Problem-solving mindset with attention to user experience and system scalability. Capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-driven environment. Has 7–12 years of experience in full-stack or backend architecture roles. Has worked as a Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, or Technical Consultant. Experience in MERNSTACK Can balance hands-on coding with team coordination and code review responsibilities. Understands hospitality industry app workflows preferred but not mandatory. Demonstrates leadership in outsourcing or cross-border collaboration environments.

About the role
We’re seeking a highly skilled Technical Consultant with strong expertise in the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) to collaborate with our outsourced development team on a hospitality-based application. This role combines hands-on technical leadership, consulting, and architecture advisory responsibilities, ensuring the app aligns with business goals and modern technical standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Act as a technical liaison between the client and development team.
- Review existing codebase, architecture, and product roadmap to suggest technical enhancements, performance improvements, and scalability updates.
- Guide and mentor the team in implementing best practices for backend and frontend development.
- Ensure smooth integration of APIs, databases, and third-party tools for hospitality-specific features (booking, CRM, POS, etc.).
- Participate in system design discussions, architecture reviews, and sprint planning.
- Conduct code reviews and provide actionable feedback for maintainability and performance.
- Evaluate new technologies or frameworks relevant to product goals.
- Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical deliverables.
- Oversee deployment and production troubleshooting as needed.
