In this critical role, you will primarily lead high level operational security matters within a critical infrastructure environment. This includes reviewing reports looking for abnormalities, issues, or concerns. Analysis of reports will call for initiation on how to take appropriate action to rectify any issues. With your expertise, you will play a fundamental part in establishing safe and secure Water Corporation infrastructure assets.
You will manage contract for service providers and engage with industry experts relating to modern technology and processes.

Whether you are visiting a major plant, or travelling remotely to inspect a regional dam, this will be your opportunity to assess potential improvements on our current security, so that we remain contemporary with our approach.

Work in a small close-knit team of five plus your manager. We take the importance of security and incident management seriously but also enjoy working in a light-hearted, fun environment. Work for a manager who will support and encourage any developmental opportunities that you wish to embark on.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity with flexible work options. We work 9-day fortnights with an RDO each fortnight. Not bad having a 3-day weekend every second week!
We pay 17.5% leave loading when you take annual leave.
After 3 years of service, you will be able to use your long service leave entitlements (pro-rata).
Want to build up your superannuation? Contribute 2% pre-tax into your super and we will contribute an additional 2%.
Ideally, you will have the following :
A Western Australian Security Consultant’s License OR eligible and willing to obtain one if you do not current possess.
You will have significant experience in effective stakeholder management and engagement, tactical leadership, along with effective communication skills.
We are ultimately in search for an individual who has extensive operational knowledge and experience of incident and emergency management practises within the State.
Knowledge of the relevant WA Security, Public Safety and Emergency Management Acts and Regulations.
The ability to prioritise, drive efficiencies and effectiveness.
Demonstrated understanding of the relevant security and emergency management sectors
Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to lead corporate wide projects.
