Release Manager

Location : Bangalore

Reports To : Head of Dev Ops

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Release Manager to take ownership of how we manage releases and environments across our Trade Allocation Manager (TAM) product and client base. You’ll work closely with Engineering, QA, Product, DevOps, and Client Delivery teams to design and run a robust release process — one that balances control and compliance with agility and speed.

What You’ll Do

Release Management

Enable the end-to-end release process for monthly and client-specific deployments and patches.
Manage the product release calendar, aligning engineering deliverables, client timelines, and environment readiness.
Coordinate with DevOps and Delivery Management Teams to plan and execute deployments across multiple environments (dev, test, UAT, client staging, prod).
Manage emergency and hotfix releases — balancing responsiveness with compliance and documentation.

Environment Management

Maintain visibility and control over all environments : who’s using what, what version is where, and what’s changing next.

Coordinate environment refreshes, data migrations, and version updates across teams and clients.

Work with DevOps to improve environment provisioning (e.g. via infrastructure-as-code, containerization, or automation).

Keep environment documentation, configurations, and access controls up to date and auditable.

Governance & Reporting

Define and enforce controls around releases, change requests, and deployments.

Build dashboards and reports to track release cadence, deployment success / failure rates, and environment stability.

Ensure releases and environments meet internal and client compliance standards (especially for regulated financial clients).
