CREO Engineer- Casting

Job description3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the design and development of heavy equipment, agricultural machinery, or automotive engine components. Provide CAD support using Creo 4.0 / Creo 7.0 for modeling and drafting of components such as housings, gearboxes, front axles, and differential cases. Develop models and detailed drawings for casting components, including sand casting, high-pressure die casting (HPDC), low-pressure die casting (LPDC), and continuous casting processes. Design and detail sheet metal parts and structural weldments using Creo Sheet Metal and Assembly modules. Create production-ready drawings with a strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Work on advanced modeling techniques including surface modeling, skeleton modeling, copy geometry, and inheritance features. Perform reverse engineering tasks as required. Efficiently manage large assemblies and ensure performance optimization in CAD environments. Execute CAD-related tasks within a Windchill Product Data Management (PDM) environment. Deliver work independently with minimal supervision and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards. Hands-on experience (minimum 3 years) with Creo 4.0 or Creo 7.0 modules (Part Modeling, Advanced Modeling, Casting Modeling, Sheet Metal, and Assemblies). Good knowledge of casting, forging, and machining processes. Familiarity with manufacturing feasibility and design for manufacturability (DFM) concepts. Strong communication skills – both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently with minimal guidance
