Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior API Developer to join our dynamic team working on cutting-edge financial applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, RESTful API development, and hibernate, with a strong understanding of scalable and secure backend systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable APIs for financial applications.
Architect and implement microservices using Spring Boot and Java.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA, and DevOps.
Ensure high performance, security, and reliability of backend services.
Optimize and refactor existing codebases for better performance and maintainability.
Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
Integrate with third-party services and financial data providers.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with minimal downtime.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Strong proficiency in Java (8+) and Spring Boot framework.

Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and RESTful API design.

Solid understanding of Hibernate and JPA for ORM.

Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment.

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, Docker.

Knowledge of security protocols and best practices in financial applications.

Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
