Position Purpose

The Design Manager in construction is responsible for overseeing the design phase of construction projects, ensuring that architectural and engineering designs meet client requirements, project specifications, and industry standards. The role involves managing design teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and integrating design solutions with construction plans

Qualifications and Experience :

Education : bachelor s or master s degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience : Minimum of 15+ years of experience in design management within the construction industry, including experience in leading design teams and managing complex projects.

Skills :

Strong understanding of architectural and engineering design principles and construction methods.

Excellent project management skills, with proficiency in design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM).

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Certifications : Professional certifications (e.g., LEED AP, PMP) are a plus.
