Job description

Need SAP-B1 finance module implementation expert for a fast-growing consumer good company .

Only candidates with hands-on implementation experience in SAP Business One (SAP B1) are eligible to apply.

Candidates who have worked on other SAP modules (such as SAP S / 4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP HCM, etc.) WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED

Position is strictly for SAP B1 Consultants with proven end-to-end implementation expertise.

SAP-B1 is already implemented 4 years back in the company, and the candidate will work on a regular basis with finance and business teams to understand business flow, processes, reports and other wants and help transcend the same into requirements and ensure the same is developed and delivered from partner development team. Candidate must be smart, with strong business Acumen, with an edge to quickly pick business process and think on good solutioning. Candiate from Finance background will be added advantage.

Responsibilities :

  • SAP B1 Implementation & Optimization
  • Oversee end-to-end SAP B1 deployments, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Configure modules (e.g., Finance, Sales, Inventory) – Align to development team and customize workflows to align

with business needs.

  • Techno-Functional Leadership
  • Serve as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring

    • seamless communication.

  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and oversee their

    • technical implementation.

  • Process Improvement & Automation
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes within ERP, CRM, and other integrated

    • Systems also implement best practices.

  • System Integrations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP B1 with external

    • applications (e.g., e-commerce, CRM, warehouse management).

  • Ownership & Mentorship
  • Lead small teams or external vendors in project execution, setting timelines and

    • quality benchmarks.

  • Provide guidance and knowledge-sharing sessions to junior team members on SAP

    • B1 functionalities and best practices.

  • Troubleshooting, Support & Documentation
  • Oversee debugging and root-cause analysis for SAP B1 issues.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and SOPs for system users.

    • Type of Role

    Permanent on full time basis with the IT and business team of the company. Reporting will be to lead consultant and Finance head of the company.

    Experience

    3 to 4 years’ experience, and atleast 1 to 2 complete SAP-B1 implementation cycles with preferable manufacturing or trading.

    At the earliest – not beyond a month.
