Job description

A Sales and Production Coordinator acts as a bridge between the sales team and the production / manufacturing team. They ensure that customer orders are accurately communicated, scheduled, and fulfilled efficiently. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Order Management

  • Receive and process customer orders.
  • Ensure orders are accurate and complete.
  • Communicate any special requirements or changes to the production team.

Production Coordination

  • Schedule production to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Monitor production progress and resolve any bottlenecks.
  • Maintain inventory levels to ensure materials are available.
  • Sales Support

  • Assist the sales team with order status updates.
  • Provide product information to customers.
  • Generate reports on sales and production performance.
  • Communication

  • Act as a liaison between sales, production, and logistics.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors if needed.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Reporting & Analysis

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery.
  • Analyze production and sales data to recommend improvements.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in sales support, production coordination, or logistics.
  • Understanding of manufacturing or production processes is a plus.
