Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center LAN Engineer with a strong focus on Cisco ACI to join our Infrastructure team. This is a hands-on implementation role responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and transforming the LAN infrastructure within the LSEG Refinitiv data centers. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ACI multi-site / multi-pod environments and be comfortable working in complex, production-critical networks.

Key Responsibilities :

Take ownership of LAN infrastructure implementation in large-scale data center environments.
Provide expert-level support and management of Cisco ACI multi-site and multi-pod deployments .
Plan and execute end-to-end Cisco ACI upgrades including :
APICs, spine / leaf switches, IPN nodes
Nexus Dashboard (ND), NDO, NDI
CIMC firmware
Perform device replacements, code upgrades , and troubleshoot hardware / software issues in production.
Support network transformation and migration projects, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal downtime.
Coordinate and manage capacity planning and network upgrades , collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Create and maintain accurate technical documentation and monitor network performance for continuous improvement.
Liaise with vendors and internal teams to ensure Service Level Objectives (SLOs) are met.
Drive automation and efficiency improvements where applicable.

Preferred Skills & Experience :

Proficient on LAN / WAN technologies like Data Centre Switching, ACI Infrastructure, QOS, Multicasting, VPWS and Layer 2 and Layer 3 connectivity solutions

Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ACI , including upgrades and lifecycle management.

Deep understanding of LAN / WAN technologies and data center architecture.

Demonstrated experience in production environments and mission-critical infrastructure.

Proven experience in Performing end-to-end Cisco ACI code upgrades covering APICs, spine / leaf switches, IPN nodes, Nexus Dashboard (ND), NDO, NDI and CIMC firmware.

Good hands-on experience in network transformation and migration projects in production environment

Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Ansible , Python ) for configuration and troubleshooting – a plus.

Familiarity with network performance monitoring and optimization tools.
