Data Governance Engineer

Location : Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Pune, Kochi

About the Role :

Seeking a Data Governance Engineer with hands-on experience in IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D) — particularly with Information Governance Catalog (IGC), Information Knowledge Catalog (IKC), and Manta Lineage tools.

The role focuses on metadata management, data lineage, and governance processes, ensuring high data quality, compliance, and traceability across enterprise data assets.

You will collaborate closely with platform and data engineering teams to implement, manage, and enhance governance solutions.

Key Skills & Experience :

1. Hands-on experience with IBM CP4D components, especially IGC, IKC, and Manta Lineage.

2. Strong understanding of metadata management, data lineage, and governance frameworks.

3. Experience defining and maintaining business glossaries and data stewardship processes.

4. Familiarity with data cataloging and classification principles.

5. Good knowledge of data integration and data quality concepts.

6. Exposure to Azure or OpenShift environments for CP4D deployment (added advantage).

7. Strong analytical and communication skills to work with technical and business stakeholders.
