Role
The Analyst / Associate supports investment banking transactions including mergers & acquisitions (M&A), equity and debt capital raising, and strategic advisory. The role involves financial analysis, valuation, preparation of client materials, and coordination of deal execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial models (DCF, LBO, merger models, comparable valuation).
- Conduct industry and company research, analysing market trends and competitive landscapes.
- Prepare pitchdecks, client presentations, investment memos, and transaction materials.
- Support the execution of M&A transactions and capital raising mandates from start to finish.
- Assist with and coordinate due diligence, reviewing financials and working with legal, tax, and other advisors.
- Analyse financial statements, company performance, and valuation metrics.
- Manage data rooms, track deal progress, and maintain internal databases and pipeline reports.
- Collaborate closely with senior bankers (VPs / MDs) in preparing strategic recommendations for clients.
- Communicate with clients, investors, and internal stakeholders on deliverables and timelines.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and high-quality output under tight deadlines
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong financial modeling and valuation capability.Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Excellent communication, presentation, and writing abilities.Bachelor's / Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.Prior internship / work experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or financial services preferred.Skills Required
