Role Description

We are looking for a passionate English News Writer / Reporter to join our editorial team.

This is a full-time hybrid role (India-based with work-from-home flexibility). The writer / reporter will research, write and report stories across national and global affairs, politics, economy, entertainment, culture, and social issues. You will cover both breaking news and long-form features, conduct interviews, verify facts and collaborate closely with editors to produce insightful, impactful journalism.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong research, interviewing and fact-checking abilities
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
• Clear understanding of digital journalism, SEO and social media trends
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative newsroom environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English or a related field
• Prior experience covering national or global affairs is a plus
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and newsroom software
