Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 5+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI report development . Proficiency in Power Query, DAX, and data modeling . Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, etc.). Experience working with Power BI Service (workspaces, gateways, app deployment). Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes . Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive BI dashboards and reports that help drive data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, data modeling, DAX, and SQL, with a keen eye for performance optimization and visual storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, publish, and schedule interactive Power BI reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Connect to data sources, import data, and transform it using Power Query (M language).
- Create complex DAX measures, calculated columns, and custom visuals to meet business needs.
- Build efficient data models for reporting and analytics.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Implement row-level security (RLS) and manage user roles and permissions.
- Optimize report performance through best practices in data modeling and visualization.
- Maintain and enhance existing reports and dashboards to improve user experience.
- Work closely with data engineering teams for data integration and ETL processes.
- Provide documentation, training, and support to end-users.
