Business Development Executive – Internship Location : AIC Raise, CoimbatoreWork Mode : In-office (Mon–Fri & Alternate Saturdays)Openings : 2 positionsDuration : 6 monthsStipend : ₹5,000–8,000 / month (First 3 months : ₹5–8K based on performance → Increment for next 3 months) and full-time conversion after 6 monthsAbout Syncner Syncner is an Ed-Tech startup on a mission to bridge the education-to-employment gap .We partner with colleges to train students in industry-ready skills and connect them with companies for internships and jobs.Our team of six is passionate about creating real career outcomes for students while helping companies discover pre-vetted talent.Role & Responsibilities As a Business Development Executive Intern, you will focus on startup outreach and ecosystem engagement , plus help run college-facing events .Key responsibilities include : Startup & Company OutreachIdentify and connect with startups / SMEs for hiring partnerships and internship opportunities.Pitch Syncner’s value proposition to HRs / founders and onboard them to our hiring platform.Maintain a structured CRM of leads, follow-ups, and partnership deals.College Engagement & EventsPlan and execute on-campus events, workshops, and placement drives with colleges.Coordinate with student leaders, faculty, and internal team to ensure smooth event operations.Represent Syncner during college events and present to large student groups.Operations & ReportingTrack outreach metrics, conversions, and event ROI.Provide regular updates and insights to the founder and core team.Collaborate with marketing for collateral, campaigns, and social presence.Key Skills & Requirements Passion for startups, networking, and ecosystem building.Strong communication (English + Tamil preferred), negotiation, and presentation skills.High energy, self-driven, and comfortable with fieldwork and cold outreach.Ability to plan, organize, and execute events end-to-end.Comfortable using CRM / Excel / Google Workspace for tracking and reporting.Education : Any Bachelor’s / Master’s degree (Business / Marketing / Engineering preferred).Prior sales, BD, or event-management experience is a plus but not mandatory.What You’ll Gain First-hand experience in startup business development and talent ecosystem building .Networking opportunities with startup founders, investors, and college stakeholders.Deep understanding of B2B & B2C sales, event management, and partnership building .Direct mentorship from the founder and exposure to a high-growth EdTech environment.
