Role : ServiceNow Integration Developer

Required Technical Skill Set : ServiceNow, Webservices, JavaScript

Desired Experience Range : 5 + Years

Location of Requirement : Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

Notice Period : 0 to 60 days. / Immediate Joiners

Desired Competencies (Technical / Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have Technical Competency

Experience with Flow Designer and Integration Hub recommended
Experience with the development and maintenance of integrations using various protocols such as REST, SOAP, LDAP, JDBC
High level of competency writing and maintaining JavaScript and PowerShell to meet the requirements
Experience implementing data transformations both in a file-based context and using scripting
Relevant IT architecture experience, Understanding of network architecture and the security implications on integrations
Knowledge of unit testing, system integration testing, performance testing, user acceptance testing, or any client-specific testing
Worked with and understands the value in creating repeatable processes to design development, test, staging and production environments that are reliable with high availability
Must be ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator
Should possess knowledge in Agile / Scrum methodology
Basic knowledge with ITIL / industry standards
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Behavioral competency

Effective communication skills with both non-technical and technical audiences (verbal and written)

Excellent Interpersonal skills to work with the project team members collaboratively

Participate and provide feedback during planning meetings (i.e., pre-iteration, and retrospectives)

Good-to-Have

ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certification

ITIL V3 / V4 foundation certification

Java developer certification

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

Understand the given application requirements (or User Stories)

Understand and follow the Best Practices and Standards / Guidelines for development

Participate in the Daily stand-up meetings and understand the changes proposed on the requirements / user stories

Must be self-directed and detail oriented in completing assigned tasks in an effective manner, meeting designated standards and criteria

Responsible for the code quality of assigned tasks

Perform Unit Testing and do documentation as required

Provide support to the users during the User Acceptance Testing

Provide any required training to the users on the user stories

Develop, test and maintain Integrations within ServiceNow

Communicate ServiceNow best practice principles with developers of external systems in situations where these systems require configuration or customization for the integration
