Junior Business Analyst

Job Description

At STRI we are hiring Business Analyst. This is a Chennai based (in-person interview) role.

We’re looking for a results-driven Business Analyst to join our client team who are in the Banking Sector in Chennai. The role involves gathering business requirements, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-

functional teams to design effective tech-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

∙Elicit, document, and manage business requirements (BRD / PRD)

∙Analyze data to generate insights and improvement opportunities

∙Bridge business needs with IT solutions; support UAT and implementation

∙Recommend process enhancements and monitor project progress

Requirements

Bachelor’s in BCA, BE, MBA (Analytics), or related field

2–5 years in a Business Analyst or similar role

Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills

Proficiency in MS Office, JIRA / Trello; Power BI / Tableau a plus

Understanding of Agile / Scrum and SDLC preferred

Preferred

∙Experience in finance or banking sectors

∙Certifications like CBAP or PMI-PBA

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in sales, preferably with exposure to BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong negotiation and closing abilities
• Proficient in CRM tools and MS Office
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
• Preferred language skill in English, Tamil and Hindi.
