Role Overview :
The Branch Operations Executive is responsible for handling day-to-day banking operations, including account opening and maintenance, transaction processing, and compliance with banking procedures and audit requirements. The role focuses on delivering a consistent and efficient customer experience while ensuring regulatory and process adherence.
Key Responsibilities :
Account Opening & Maintenance
- Execute processes for account opening, maintenance, and closure in line with banking standards
- Scrutinize and verify customer documents as per branch checklist and regulatory guidelines
- Ensure accurate data entry and proper documentation for all account-related activities
Transaction Processing
Handle cash transactions, NEFT, RTGS, and other banking transactions efficientlyAddress customer instructions and ensure timely execution of financial operationsRespond to transaction-related queries and provide resolution within TATCustomer Service & Query Handling
Attend to customer inquiries at the branch and deliver prompt serviceMaintain accurate records of customer interactions, complaints, and resolutionsConduct welcome calls and ensure proper onboarding of new customersCompliance & Audit
Ensure adherence to internal processes, regulatory norms, and documentation standardsFollow operational guidelines and participate in achieving high audit ratings for the branchMaintain vigilance on regulatory and statutory updates relevant to branch operationsOperational Excellence
Ensure all processes, systems, and resources are optimized to deliver superior serviceMaintain necessary logs and data for transaction efficiency and internal analysisCoordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth branch functioningSkills Required
