SAP FICO Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong functional knowledge of SAP FICO modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting, as well as Controlling modules like Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders (IO), Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
• Stay updated and apply knowledge of SAP S / 4HANA Finance, including its simplified finance architecture, embedded analytics, and Fiori apps.
• Map and model business processes using appropriate tools and techniques such as flowcharts and BPMN to ensure clear documentation and understanding.
• Utilize requirements management tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps to capture, track, and manage business requirements effectively.
• Analyze financial data and reporting structures within SAP, with added advantage if familiar with SQL or other data query languages.
• Develop and execute test scripts covering different testing phases such as unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Navigate SAP systems proficiently to run standard reports and understand table structures as needed.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders across finance, IT, and management, ensuring clear and concise verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Apply analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex financial issues and propose practical SAP-based solutions.
• Exhibit strong business acumen in finance and accounting principles including financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and foster consensus across business and technical teams.
• Facilitate workshops and interviews to elicit detailed and accurate requirements from stakeholders.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and ensure thorough testing to deliver high-quality, accurate solutions.
• Organize and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines effectively.
• Adapt quickly to evolving business processes, SAP functionalities, and project requirements.
