Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Senior Academic & Student Counsellor / Partnership Specialist to drive student enrolments and strengthen institutional partnerships. The ideal candidate will combine student counselling expertise, strategic relationship management, and business development acumen to expand Cyrix Academy’s reach and impact.

Key Responsibilities

Student Enrolment & Counselling

  • Lead the end-to-end counselling and enrolment process across multiple channels — inbound / outbound calls, webinars, digital campaigns, and events.
  • Engage with students, graduates, and professionals to understand their career aspirations and recommend suitable biomedical programs.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly enrolment targets.
  • Maintain detailed records of prospects, interactions, and conversions using CRM systems.
  • Mentor and guide junior counsellors to improve conversion rates and counselling quality.

Institutional & Strategic Partnerships

  • Identify, approach, and manage partnerships with engineering colleges, universities, and technical institutes.
  • Develop proposals and MoUs for collaborations such as :
  • o Cyrix Skill Labs or Centers of Excellence within partner campuses

    o Collaborative workshops, faculty development, and guest lectures

    o Integration of Cyrix programs into existing academic curricula

  • Represent Cyrix Academy at education fairs, conferences, and academic networking events.
  • Work with internal marketing and operations teams to create effective outreach plans and communication campaigns.
  • Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred : Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Engineering, or Business Management).
  • 5–7 years of experience in academic counselling, B2C / B2B sales, or partnership management — ideally in edtech, training, or healthcare education.
  • Proven track record in achieving enrolment or partnership targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify new opportunities and convert them into results.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently or leading small teams.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and data-driven sales reporting.
  • Willingness to travel for meetings, events, and campus visits.
