Job descriptionCore ABAP : Proficient of ABAP language, including object-oriented concepts. ABAP Cloud & RAP : Experience with the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), including behavior definitions and metadata extensions. Service and API Development : Ability to create and extend ABAP RESTful services and APIs for integration. SAP HANA : Skills in using Core Data Services (CDS views) and other HANA-specific features like AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures). Data Modeling : Understanding of data structures and how to model them, especially with CDS views. Integration : Hands-on experience of integrating with both SAP and non-SAP systems, including RESTful / SOAP APIs / OData. Modern UIs : Familiarity with building OData services for modern UIs like SAP Fiori. Version Control : Proficiency with modern version control systems, especially Git, and SAP's CTS+. Clean-Core Development : Adherence to principles that maintain the stability of SAP's core system and allow for smooth upgrades. ADT tools : Eclipse or equivalent. Ensures compliance with SAP’s clean core guidelines. Proven experience as a ABAP Cloud Developer with hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP . Experience in greenfield implementations . Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with distributed teams (onshore / offshore). Proficiency in modern development frameworks, tools, syntax and methodologies. Must be a strong team player. Must have a focus on customer satisfaction. Ability to listen, understand and facilitate process improvements. Minimum 4+ years of experience in SAP S / 4HANA application development using RAP model. S / 4 HANA 2023 On-Prem development experience SAP certification in S / 4HANA or BTP. Experience with SAP Fiori / UI5 development. Knowledge of agile delivery methodologies. Understanding of Order to Cash(OTC) or MAKE processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy ABAP Cloud solutions leveraging S / 4 ABAP Cloud for WRICEF objects.
- Clean Core Backend Development with latest Syntax
- Integrates S / 4HANA with external systems via APIs and events. (AEM)
- Builds in-app extensions using RAP and BAdIs.
- Works on forms, custom reports, enhancements, and CDS views.
- Participate in greenfield implementations , from requirement gathering through to go-live and support.
- Provide hands-on support for existing systems, ensuring stability, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams , fostering seamless communication and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions in different time zones.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across back-end, and integration layers.
- Stay up to date with emerging SAP technologies and recommend best practices to the team.
- Deliver high-quality code and documentation in a fast-paced environment.
