About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Editorial Head for our lifestyle website or a Video Head for our Women Centric lifestyle-focused YouTube channel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video production and team management, with a passion for creating compelling content that engages our audience.

Prerequisites :

  • 4 to 8 years of proven experience as an Editorial Head of a lifestyle website or as a Video Head of a Women Centric lifestyle-focused YouTube channel.
  • Fluency in Marathi (spoken and written) is a must.
  • Strong experience in leading video production teams, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Prior experience in team management with demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Proven track record of handling and growing video channels, including branded content execution.
  • Strong understanding of video analytics, audience behavior, and platform-specific content performance.
  • Excellent communication, client-facing, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive video content strategy that aligns with brand objectives, audience preferences, and market trends for Lokmat Sakhi Video.
  • Continuously identify emerging trends, formats, and themes in the lifestyle video space, translating them into innovative and engaging content concepts.
  • Create a strong brand identity through video storytelling, ensuring alignment with the company's tone, vision, and objectives.
  • Oversee the end-to-end video production lifecycle from ideation, scripting, pre-production, shooting, and editing to final publishing of the anchor team.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely, consistent, and high-quality video output.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, social media, editorial, sales) and external partners (influencers, production houses, subject matter experts) to deliver compelling video content.
  • Lead the branded content production cycle including ideation, pitching to clients, execution of campaigns, and performance reporting.
  • Ensure all branded video projects meet creative standards while fulfilling client objectives and maintaining audience engagement.
  • Derive actionable insights and adapt strategies to optimize audience engagement, reach, and channel growth.
  • Stay updated with platform algorithm changes and evolving consumer behavior to ensure maximum visibility and impact.
  • Manage and mentor a creative team of video producers, editors, and content strategists.
  • Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability within the content team.
  • Ensure smooth coordination with cross-functional teams to amplify content reach and engagement.
