Job description

The SAP ABAP + OData + EDI role is crucial to our organization as it involves developing, implementing, and supporting SAP applications and integrations using ABAP, OData, and EDI technologies. The incumbent will play a key role in enhancing our SAP systems and ensuring seamless data exchange with external partners.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP programming language
Implement and enhance OData services for data retrieval and manipulation
Configure and provide support for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) interfaces
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions
Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality and stability of developed programs
Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and performance tuning activities
Document technical designs, development, and system configurations
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP-related issues
Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to junior team members
Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Minimum of X years of experience in SAP ABAP development

Hands-on experience in developing OData services within SAP environment

Strong expertise in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) concepts and implementations

Proficiency in SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI, and / or CO

Experience with SAP integration technologies and tools

Excellent programming skills in ABAP, SQL, and Java

Ability to analyze complex business processes and requirements

Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities

Good understanding of SAP architecture and data models

Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

SAP certification(s) is a plus

Experience in Agile development methodologies is desirable

Knowledge of SAP Fiori and UI5 is a plus
