Role : Frontend Engineer - Admin Console & Workflow Studio
About the Role :
We are looking for a Frontend Engineer - Admin Console & Workflow Studio to build a robust, high-performance, and developer-centric web interface for managing workflow automation and observability. You will design and implement UI components that interact seamlessly with Python / FastAPI backends, enabling real-time visualization, control, and diagnostics for complex automation systems.
Responsibilities :
- Develop responsive frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, optimized for performance and accessibility.
- Implement visual workflow builders (drag-and-drop DAG editors) with state synchronization to backend APIs via WebSockets or REST.
- Integrate real-time metrics, logs, and events from observability APIs into interactive dashboards.
- Build secure admin consoles with fine-grained RBAC views and dynamic permission-based rendering.
- Optimize data fetching and caching using React Query / SWR and integrate tightly with FastAPI endpoints.
- Work with backend engineers to define OpenAPI schemas, ensuring strong type safety and error handling.
- Implement front-end telemetry instrumentation using OpenTelemetry JS for latency and UX metrics.
- Collaborate with UX designers to develop intuitive layouts for workflow monitoring, configuration management, and policy governance.
- Automate build and deployment processes with Vite / Webpack, GitHub Actions, and Dockerized previews.
Required Qualifications :
4+ years of professional experience in frontend engineering.Advanced proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern state management (Zustand, Redux, or Recoil).Strong understanding of API integration, WebSocket streaming, and real-time data rendering.Experience connecting to FastAPI / REST / GraphQL backends with authenticated requests.Solid knowledge of UI performance optimization, lazy loading, and code-splitting techniques.Familiarity with secure UI development, CSP, and cross-origin policies.Preferred Skills :
Experience with 3D / canvas-based visualization (D3.js, React Flow, Three.js) for workflow graphs.Familiarity with Tailwind CSS themes, Storybook, and component libraries for enterprise UIs.Exposure to OpenAPI-driven front-end scaffolding tools and form automation frameworks.(ref : hirist.tech)
