Principle Software Engineering Lead

Overview

The Virtualization Core Platform team is looking for a talented, motivated leader to work in core virtualization technology areas to help drive the development of the next generation of our platform. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who can learn quickly, have dependable design skills, and have the proven ability to build and manage a dynamic team.Have you used Hyper-V today? Have you used Windows 11 today?Millions of users interact with Hyper-V daily. Hyper-V is the backbone of the cloud and nearly all of Microsoft's online properties, including Azure, are running on Hyper-V. That's millions of virtual machines hosting the services that people use every day.

Qualifications

Required qualifications :

• Required / Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++ OR equivalent experience
• 2 + years' experience with hypervisors, kernel mode programming, containers, and / or security or equivalent experience

Your work will touch all aspects of low-level CPU, memory, and device virtualization. You'll be working closely with all of Microsoft's key silicon partners to enable new hardware features and push the boundaries of performance, reliability, security, and more.
