BI / SSRS Developer

Contract : 6 months

Location : Thrissur, Kerala (Work from Office)

SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) - Design, develop, and maintain interactive reports from various data sources for business users, using tools like Visual Studio.

Key responsibilities include gathering requirements from stakeholders, optimizing report performance, creating SQL queries, collaborating with data engineers, ensuring data integrity, and providing user support and documentation.

Strong proficiency in SQL / T-SQL, data analysis, problem-solving, and excellent communication are essential for success in an SSRS developer role.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and Development : Create, develop, and deploy interactive and printable reports using SSRS tools, often from SQL Server and other data sources.
• Requirement Gathering : Work with business stakeholders to understand and translate their reporting needs into actionable reports.
• Data Management : Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data extracts to ensure efficient data retrieval and integrity.
• Performance Optimization : Analyze and improve report performance to ensure quick and reliable delivery of information.
• Collaboration : Work closely with data engineers and other teams to prepare data and integrate reporting solutions into broader projects.
• User Support : Provide technical support and training to end-users to help them effectively utilize the developed reports.
• Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation for reporting processes, designs, and solutions to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.
