Job description

About the Role : We are looking for a Test Architect with deep expertise in Python, Pytest, and Appium to design and lead the implementation of robust test automation frameworks for mobile and web applications. You will work closely with QA engineers, developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure our software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.

This role involves designing and implementing scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks while collaborating with various teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Responsibilities :

  • Design and implement scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks using Pytest and Appium.
  • Define test architecture strategies across UI, API, and performance testing domains.
  • Drive continuous integration and test automation strategies within CI / CD pipelines.
  • Mentor and guide QA engineers and automation developers in best practices, code reviews, and reusable test component creation.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to define testing requirements and ensure test coverage across all levels.
  • Lead root cause analysis for test failures and implement preventive measures.
  • Evaluate and integrate modern testing tools and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Develop metrics and dashboards to monitor test effectiveness and product quality trends.

Qualifications :

  • 10+ years of experience in test automation, with at least 2 years as a test architect or in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Python and Pytest for test automation.
  • Proven experience in mobile automation using Appium (iOS and Android).
  • Experience integrating test automation into CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Familiarity with testing RESTful APIs using tools like requests, Postman, or RestAssured.
  • Knowledge of test data management, mocking, and service virtualization.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.

  • Expertise in Python and Pytest.
  • Experience with Appium for mobile automation.
  • Knowledge of CI / CD integration.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API testing tools.
