Domain : Instrumentation and Control – Chemical, Petrochemical and O&G

Responsibilities :

1. Experienced Designer with knowledge of design stages and Design Deliverables of I&C discipline

2. Experience and knowledge of I&C Design and 3D modelling using SP3D for Cable trays, Conduits, Instrument Equipment, Junction Boxes, Remote IO Panels, Local Panels, Analyzer shelters, Multi Cable transits (MCTs) etc.

3. Experienced with Model reviews, participation in model reviews. Should be able to complete all I&C Design related activity independently in compliance to applicable codes and standards.

4. Should be experienced with other Design related software like AutoCAD, MicroStation, SPR, NAVIS Works and Microsoft Office

5. Knowledge of preparation and review of Detailed Engineering Design Deliverables (Instrument Hook-up, Loop Diagram, Tray and conduit layout, Trench layout, Location Plan, Conduit wiring drawings and conduit modelling, Junction box and Panel wiring Diagram, Functional Loop Schematics, Tray, Cable and Tubing Material BOM / BOQ, Cable Schedule etc.

6. Should be able to prepare and review all I&C design deliverables independently in compliance with Quality System

7. Familiarity with relevant codes and standards applicable to O&G / Chemical plants

8. Experience of Participation in Model Review and Squad Check process

9. Knowledge of instrument installation practices and standard, construction sequence and requirements, access and egress related requirements

10. Should have knowledge of wiring schemes for ESD / DCS and RTU / SCADA applicable to O&G / Chemical plants

11. Understanding of Low Voltage Electrical Systems, Gas detection system etc. cable separation requirement is desirable.

12. Ability to work in a team and support the project deliverables as per schedule and collaborate with other disciplines for requisite inputs is desirable.

13. Good verbal and written communication skills

14. Experience of working on international projects and client is preferred.

15. Experienced with performing IDC of interdisciplinary checks of I&C deliverables and other discipline drawings.
