Position Summary :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for the role of Lead Specialist / Sr Lead Specialist in Enterprise Risk Management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across the organization. This role involves analyzing risk trends, developing risk management frameworks, creating detailed reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective risk mitigation strategies. The Lead Specialist / Sr. Lead Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving a culture of initiative-taking risk management, ensuring compliance, and enhancing organizational resilience through data-driven insights and innovative solutions.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Identify, assess, and prioritize risks across the organization, including operational, financial, Legal and compliance risks.
- Analyze risk trends and patterns to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
- Develop and implement risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Collect, clean, and analyze risk-related data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Create detailed risk reports and dashboards to provide real-time insights to stakeholders.
- Present findings and recommendations in a clear and actionable manner.
- Collaborate closely with Manager / Sr Manager, operations, and other departments to understand risk-related challenges and provide tailored solutions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, data privacy regulations, and organizational policies.
- Support Manager / Sr Manager in embedding risk management into planning and decision-making processes.
- Monitor the effectiveness of risk management initiatives and recommend improvements.
EDUCATION : Bachelor’s degree in risk management, Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE :
Overall, 8 to 10 years of which 3 – 5 years of experience in ERM, First Line of Defense (FLOD)Proven history of working with Enterprise Risk Management team.Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in Risk ManagementAbility to work collaboratively across teams and effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex risk data and translate it into actionable insights for decision-making.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey risk-related technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar platforms for risk assessment and reporting.Knowledge of risk management frameworks, processes, and methodologies is a plus.Strong diligence and commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work.Proven history of managing and delivering multiple risk management projects on time and within scope.Knowledge of the insurance and risk management industry is an advantage.
