CTC : 40-50 LPA

Location : Chennai

Client : Leading Consumer Internet / Technology Enterprise (Confidential)

Compensation : 40-50 LPA

Experience : 12-18 years

Function : Sales & Business Development

About the Role :

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Zonal Sales Manager to lead regional business operations, drive revenue growth, and strengthen channel & enterprise partnerships across the Southern Zone. This role is pivotal in accelerating business performance through data-driven decision-making and team leadership. And most Importantly manage a large team of approx. 100 people.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Own the P&L, growth, and market share for the assigned zone.
  • Build and lead a high-performance sales team across multiple states.
  • Drive new business acquisition and strategic account management to achieve revenue targets.
  • Create and implement go-to-market strategies, channel expansion, and category growth plans.
  • Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and product teams for seamless execution.
  • Analyze regional performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and optimize sales efficiency.
  • Ensure strong governance, forecasting accuracy, and process compliance.

Ideal Candidate Profile :

  • 12-18 years of experience in B2B / SME Sales
  • Proven track record in scaling business across multiple regions or verticals.
  • Strong leadership and people management experience (large, distributed teams).
  • Hands-on experience in strategy, planning, and execution.
  • MBA from a Tier-1 or Tier-2 institute (preferred).
  • Exposure to tech-led, high-growth business environments will be an advantage.
