The Opportunity

Experience : 0-1 year

Nature of Employment : Internship

Sportskeeda is on the lookout for a Social Media Intern who lives and breathes U.S. culture — from sports and entertainment to politics.

Key Responsibilities :

Managing platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and X.

Create & curate engaging US-related content.

Edit short-form videos and reels using trending formats, transitions, and sounds.

Track trends and contribute to real-time conversations.

Support in scheduling and publishing daily posts.

Help in monitoring performance metrics and brainstorming ways to grow engagement.

Collaborate with the creative and editorial teams for campaign and daily content ideas.

Requirements

Strong command over English (written + spoken).

Up to date with all the happenings in USA.

Awareness of what’s trending across U.S. pop culture.

Decent understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok culture.

Basic knowledge of Adobe / Canva photo & video editing tools.

Great communication skills and attention to detail.

A creative thinker who can work in a fast-paced digital environment.

Currently enrolled in a relevant field of study, such as journalism, communications, marketing, or a related discipline.

Strong creative writing skills with an ability to craft engaging captions and content.

Familiarity with major social media platforms and an understanding of trends in content sharing.

Ability to adapt content for different social media channels.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Requirements

Decent understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok culture. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar video editing tools.
