We're looking for a highly strategic, data-savvy Monetization Lead to own the revenue delivery through optimization of monetization systems and live operations for our new Puzzle game. This role is central to scaling the game into a global success, balancing fun, fairness, and business outcomes.
You'll be responsible for managing and optimizing every player experience, and working at the intersection of economy, content, and product design to build compelling value loops for players through live events, feature engagement, smart offer personalization, and monetization optimization.
Responsibilities
Monetization Ownership :
- Define and deliver in-game monetization, including IAP systems, soft economy loops, and premium features.
- Translate player motivations and progression needs into monetization moments that feel rewarding and strategic.
- Plan for & track forecasted revenue and take reactive measures.
- Partner closely with the Economy Manager to balance coin sinks / sources, optimize RTP targets, and manage inflation.
- Build and execute a monetization roadmap, balancing short-term wins with long-term growth strategies.
Live Operations Strategy & Execution
Own the end-to-end LiveOps calendar : daily / weekly / monthly cadence, meta layering, thematic rotations, and monetization integration.Design and evolve LiveOps systems such as events, boosters, reward ladders, and feature-specific activations.Own sales, offers, and campaigns to drive revenue.Coordinate with product, content, and design teams to ensure seamless event execution, from art to configuration.Experimentation & Optimization
Lead A / B testing and analytics for monetization features, live events, and pricing.Identify player segment opportunities and adapt monetization strategies to behavioral patterns, and use differential configuration at the venue level.Continuously optimize offer conversion, player LTV, and engagement KPIs through rapid iteration.Build processes and requirements for scalable LiveOps : automation of campaign deployment, cohort-based rewards, and reactive configurations.Utilize internal or third-party tools to manage experiments, offers, and personalization at scale.Cross-Functional Leadership
Serve as the central thought partner to PMs, designers, analysts, and content teams around monetization decisions.Give inputs to PMs for monetization-related features and improvements.Guide the LiveOps Manager in executing to quality and performance standards.Collaborate with UA, CRM, and art to align player lifecycle campaigns and thematic monetization arcs.Requirements
5+ years in mobile free-to-play games, with at least 3 years owning monetization or live ops execution (proven track record of managing KPIs such as ARPU, ARPPU, Retention, LTV, and Conversion Rates).Deep familiarity with puzzle or casual game loops, player segmentation, and behavioral monetization models.Understanding of IAP models, ad monetization, LiveOps, and game economy design principles.Strong data fluency (Excel, SQL, dashboard tools), with the ability to define and interpret complex KPIs.High comfort with monetization design, event balancing, reward pacing, and soft economy modeling.Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.This job was posted by Dharmendra Thakur from Gameberry Labs.
