Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Hypervisor Senior QA professional. In this role, you will support testing efforts for virtualization platforms and hypervisors, ensuring reliability, performance, and compatibility across a variety of hardware and software environments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with foundational knowledge in virtualization who is eager to grow into a deeper systems-level testing role.

Qualifications

Execute test cases for hypervisors, virtualization layers, and related system components

• Validate VM lifecycle operations (creation, boot, suspend, snapshot, migration, teardown)
• Perform functional, regression, and basic performance testing
• Assist in debugging environment issues related to virtual machines, drivers, firmware, and host OS
• Document test results, defects, and reproducible steps clearly
• Support senior test engineers in building automation scripts or improving coverage

Work closely with development, QA, and infra teams to ensure test environments are stable and aligned with requirements
