Desired Competencies (Technical / Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

(Ideally should not be more than 3-5)

Strong Knowledge on Java, J2ee, Spring, SpringBoot, REST SOAP webservices, Hibernate and microservices. Good Understanding of architecture and design patterns.

Working proficiency in development toolsets like GIT / BitBucket, jira, svn, jenkins or similar other CICD tools.

Comfortable in working with databases such as Oracle, Mysql , Postgres or NO SQL databases

Experience in implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests for Java code (JUnit must, Cucumber / Selenium would be big plus). Development of java web application

Write presentation-tier HTML5 / Javascript code / modern UI technologies Angular.js, Vue.js or React.js

Good communication skills

Good-to-Have

Experience in Agile way of working would be an added advantage

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

Lead, design, develop, execute, deliver and maintain web based java / j2ee development and maintenance projects.

Perform Unit Testing, SIT and provide UAT support for all the enhancements.

Own the backlog items and coordinate with both onsite and offshore team members to develop the features planned for each sprint

Maintain active relationships with Product Owner to understand business requirements and review designs with the product owner

Participate in collaborative technical discussions that focus on software user experience, design, architecture and development.
