The Krones Group, headquartered in Neutraubling, Germany, plans, develops, and manufactures machines and complete lines for the fields of process technology, bottling, and packaging, plus intralogistics and recycling. Every day, millions of bottles, cans and containers are "processed" in Krones lines - in alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage industries, dairy and liquid food industry as well as in the chemical, pharmaceutical and home & personal care industries.

Krones Digital Solutions India is created as of 2023 to be the Technology Competence Centre for Krones, focusing on developing software solutions for the Internal organization as well as for the customers of Krones Global.

Who are we looking for?

We have an exciting opportunity as our SAP Authorization Senior Consultant for an individual who has a track record of creating successful outcomes through creating a culture of leadership within the organization and empowering team members into future leaders themselves.You thrive in the ambiguity and excitement of a fast-paced growing organization with greenfield setup and can respond to it with the same level of growth mindset coupled with a sense of ownership, agility, risk taking & proactiveness

This role will directly report to Head of IM CA Technology and will be based in Bangalore.

What are you in for? (Roles and responsibilities)

You would be responsible for driving the SAP roadmap of our organization’s growth journey, helping to define the process strategy, organizational culture, and best practices, while collaborating with onshore and offshore teams.

In summation, the mission statement of your role is to work with the IM CA Technology to build, develop and scale the organization for a sustainable future while ensuring that we constantly challenge ourselves

Your responsibilities would include but are not limited to the below : -

Have a great sense of accountability and responsibility to drive the SAP deliveries from offshore

Follow the SAP process and governance, quality assurance and review process of the deliverables

Customer and solution-oriented thinking with Target and results-oriented approach

Interface between the product owners, stakeholders, and developers and users.

Propose and implement innovations and improvements

Establish best practices from coding to delivery ensuring the handover of daily operations with a proper documentation

Focus on Performance optimizations of customizations in SAP Landscape.

End-to-end SAP Implementation experience

Review TD’s, FD’s, Blueprints and support tests (unit test, functional test etc)

Well versed in software engineering principles, frameworks, Agile Methodologies

What are we looking for? (Experience / Qualifications / Skillsets / Must-haves)

Education - bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in computer science with min 5+ years of relevant experience to max 8 years of total experience

Strong written, verbal and Presentation skills along with Analytical skills and Logical Skills

Excellent communication skills and fluent knowledge of spoken and written English

Strong problem-solving skills coupled with logical and analytical abilities

Should be flexible to work according to German timings (11am to 8 : 00 pm) / shifts

Should have worked in multi-cultural environment

Should be willing to work in Shifts (mostly on rotational basis during morning shift 6am to 3 pm and general shift 11 am to 8pm)

Willingness to work in Bangalore location and in a Hybrid model

Technology Expertise

SAP Authorization – (Must have Primary skill)

Strong experience in SAP Authorization, S / 4HANA Security and SAP Fiori security

Manage SAP users, authorizations, and profiles across the SAP landscape ECC, SRM, GTS, S / 4HANA etc

Proficient with SAP authorization concept in S / 4Hana, role design, Fiori app assignment to roles (catalogues and spaces), user administration, resolving Fiori authorization issues using error log transactions, SOD conflict resolution

Must have good experience in System Security, Role Maintenance and Authorizations Experience in handling Incidents, Change Management and Problem Management.

Prepare Knowledge Transition plan and document to Support teams

End user manual preparation and user training the users

Processing of all incoming incidents and service requests as part of a 2nd level support

Execution of tasks from change management for the defined task areas

User account management and authorization assignment for the SAP systems

Telephone, software-assisted user support mainly for the SAP systems, as well as the identity and access management process, as far as this is related to SAP authorization requirements

Close cooperation with 1st level support and subject matter experts to improve service

Monitoring the IT service and generating reports

Introduce technical changes into the environment using a structured approach that minimizes risk and achieves high reliability, availability, and performance of each SAP instance.

Working with respective functional teams and able to map identified task-based responsibilities to standard Fiori apps, co-ordinate with role and user assignments

Experience in ServiceNow tool and ticket handling

Basis : (Good to have skill)

System monitoring using Solution Manager / other monitoring tools

High priority Incident ticket handling related to System down / performance issues

System Health check analysis on individual system both with GUI as well as OS level

Identifying root cause for issue reported

Transport movement and troubleshooting related issues

BTP : (Must have Secondary skill)

Overview of BTP account structure

Understanding of User Authentication and Authorization related concepts

Cloud connector connection setup and troubleshoot relative issues

Destination setup with different authentication mechanisms

Knowledge on SAP CIS features such as IAS and IPS
