In this role, you will be responsible for enabling and leading the associated domain test teams and act as the main interface between the test manager and the test teams. You will also be responsible for fine planning of Test runs as a Test Planner. The Test Technical Lead is an expert in CT system testing and has domain knowledge within CT systems and products. The Test Technical Lead is responsible for the clarification of technical aspects for test engineering and test execution within a test project.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Support and train the domain test teams in all technical questions that might arise.
- Establish and maintain test engineering concepts.
- Derive continuous improvements to make the engineering and execution of test cases more efficient.
- Maintain the backlog of testing tasks, prioritize tasks according to the test manager and align with other stakeholders.
- Perform effort estimations and check the feasibility for project milestones.
- Control the progress of engineering tasks and accept the outcome with respect to quantity and quality.
- Provide status of current work, identify effort or resource conflicts, and propose countermeasures.
- Evaluate and provide solutions to stakeholder requests related to test center activities (e.g., Common FSP inputs, working with System Engineering, clarifications on Test Environment, etc.).
- Coordinate the exchange of test center documents / artefacts required by external stakeholders (e.g., V&V documents and test records shared with various regulatory teams).
- Keep track of trace errors and release the test artefacts in the appropriate baselines required for planning.
- Plan and maintain test rounds in the Test management tool.
Education :
Software Biomedical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.Skill Sets :
Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts and test methodologies.Experience in the defect management process.Familiarity with agile methodology.Experience in maintaining the backlogs / baselines of testing tasks.Ability to provide regular status updates on current work, trends, and forecast engineering tasks, including defects and trace handling.Ability to coordinate with SW development teams and external stakeholders.Strong analytical thinking to understand and solve the root cause of any given technical issues.Demonstrate proactive attitude, ownership qualities, and result-oriented culture.Awareness of the medical imaging domain and / or clinical workflow knowledge is an added advantage.Skills Required
