Job Summary :
We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Tester with hands-on experience in testing web-based HRMS (Human Resource Management System) applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of application modules such as Employee Management, Leave, Attendance, Payroll, and Approvals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyse business requirements and prepare detailed test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing for HRMS modules.
- Identify, record, and track bugs using tools like JIRA / Bugzilla / Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues efficiently.
- Execute both manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality.
- Validate data integrity across modules (Leave, Payroll, Attendance, etc.).
- Prepare and maintain test documentation (test plan, test summary, defect report).
- Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and release verification.
- Provide input on process improvements and automation opportunities.
Technical Skills Required :
Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.Experience with manual testing of web applications.Hands-on with automation tools like Selenium / Cypress / Playwright (preferred).Familiarity with Postman / Swagger for API testing.Knowledge of SQL for backend validation.Experience using JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent test management tools.Exposure to testing applications hosted on AWS / Cloud environments is a plus.Soft Skills :
