Job Overview :
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow QA Engineer with strong expertise in ATF (Automated Test Framework) and hands-on experience validating ServiceNow modules end-to-end. The ideal candidate will also have solid understanding of OMT (Order Management for Telecommunications) processes along with experience in functional, regression, SIT, and integration testing within Agile environments.
This role focuses on ensuring high-quality, stable, and well-tested ServiceNow releases while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Automation & Functional Testing-
- Design, build, and maintain Automated Test Framework (ATF) test suites across multiple ServiceNow modules.
- Execute and optimize automated and manual test cases for functional, regression, SIT, and integration testing.
- Validate end-to-end ServiceNow workflows including request, catalog, fulfillment, and backend processes.
- Telecom OMT (Order Management) Testing-
- Test Order Management for Telecom flows including :
- Order creation, validation, and fulfillment
- Telecom product catalog validation
- Data mappings and service delivery processes
- Troubleshoot OMT fulfillment failures and verify orchestration steps.
- Quality Engineering & Collaboration-
- Develop detailed test strategies, test plans, test cases, and documentation.
- Log, track, and verify defects using standard QA methodologies.
- Work closely with developers, Product Owners, and Scrum teams for issue resolution and release readiness.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
- CI / CD & Technical Skills-
- Perform API testing , data validation, platform checks, and workflow validations.
- Use CI / CD pipelines to integrate test suites and support automated release cycles.
- Utilize basic scripting (JavaScript, Python, or similar) to support test automation improvements.
Required Skills & Experience :
3–6+ years experience as a ServiceNow QA Engineer .Hands-on experience with ATF automation in ServiceNow.Strong experience in manual testing, regression, functional, SIT, and integration testing .In-depth understanding of OMT (Order Management for Telecommunications) flows.Good knowledge of ServiceNow modules, workflows, catalog items, and fulfillment steps.Experience with API testing , CI / CD pipelines, and test management tools.Strong analytical, debugging, and defect-tracking skills.Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments.Preferred Skills :
Basic scripting experience (JavaScript / Python).Exposure to ITSM, FSM, Telecom flows, or other ServiceNow modules.Knowledge of automation frameworks beyond ATF.
