Job description

As Integration Lead you will be responsible for leading the design and development efforts for systems integration projects and coordinating with other technical team leads on technical implementations.

The candidate will combine analytical ability, technical integration skills, and project management skills to develop and lead system integration projects. This will include selecting the appropriate integration approach and applying technical management and development skills throughout the delivery lifecycle to produce high quality solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Provide technical expertise to integration teams, guiding the design and implementation of integration solutions.
  • Collaborate with support teams to resolve production incidents and proactively seek opportunities to develop preventative measures to avoid recurrence.
  • Takes responsibility for the provision of support services to projects.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as developers, testers, business analysts, and project managers, to coordinate integration efforts.
  • Understand the requirements of the project and determine how the different elements will integrate to meet those requirements.
  • Create integration architectures and design patterns to guide the development and implementation of integration solutions.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to integration, such as data discrepancies, communication problems, or compatibility challenges.
  • Identify potential risks associated with integration and implement strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Oversee integration testing and manage the deployment of integrated systems into the production environment.

  • REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Four-year college or university degree with focus on IT or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 7 years of experience in software development, system integration, or a related field
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language and technologies used for integration such as Python, Java or others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with various stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve integration challenges
  • Analytical mindset to analyze data, performance metrics, and integration bottlenecks
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and technologies
  • Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns, protocols, and standards
  • Project Planning for DC Integration Projects / Workstreams :

  • Work with Distribution Solution Architects and consultants to generate a plan
  • Support Project and / or Program Managers in preparing their project plans by giving input regarding the Integration workstream
  • Integration Teams Resource Planning :

  • Work with External Partners or Internal Departments to get Integration resources for applications like AFS, Omni, TIBCO, Kafka, XI, Automic, Informatica
  • Integration Teams Budget Estimation and Management :

  • Work with external partners in getting SOWs
  • Work with internal partners in aligning Internal Recharge structure
  • Create PO in Ariba and / or Fieldglass
  • Maintain budget in Excel and Planview
  • Complete Goods Receipt in Ariba
  • Approve Timesheets in Fieldglass
  • Testing :

  • Lead integration-related smoke testing phases
  • Assist Test Managers in designing testing phases and resource allocation
  • Ensure Test Prep from Integration point of view is completed
  • Cutover & Go-Live :

  • Assist Cutover Manager in preparing cutover plans
  • Resource planning and allocation for Cutover and Go-Live
  • Handover Documentation :

  • Work with Solution Architect & Tech Consultants to generate Handover documentation
  • Manage repository of documents
  • Work with various distribution & integration teams in organizing handover sessions
  • Obtain handover sign-off
  • Hypercare :

  • Work with Project and / or Program Manager to close hypercare from Integration point of view
  • Manage Team of Externals :

  • Access control
