Job Title : Design Engineer – SolidWorks (Trailers)

About the Role :

We are looking for skilled Design Engineers with hands-on experience in SolidWorks and trailer design. The role involves creating, modifying, and validating 3D models and detailed drawings to support manufacturing and product development requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and develop trailers and related components using SolidWorks.

Prepare 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs in line with project specifications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, and procurement) to ensure design feasibility.

Perform tolerance analysis, structural checks, and design optimization .

Support prototyping, testing, and validation of designs.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering or related field.

2 – 6 years of proven experience in design engineering using SolidWorks .

Strong knowledge of trailer structures, chassis, suspensions, and mechanical systems .

Experience with GD&T, material selection, and manufacturing processes .

Ability to create detailed engineering documentation.

Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) :

Exposure to finite element analysis (FEA) and simulation tools.

Experience in heavy vehicle / trailer industry.

Knowledge of fabrication and welding processes.
