Lead Oracle DBA – OSS / BSS Transformation Program

We are seeking a Lead Oracle DBA to drive the database migration, upgrade, and DR implementation for a large-scale OSS / BSS Transformation Program. This includes transitioning Oracle Communications applications (Siebel, BRM, UIM, etc.) from VMware to OLVM, upgrading Oracle DBs to 19c / 23ai, and establishing a highly available DR setup using Data Guard.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead Oracle database migrations from VMware-based to OLVM-based environments.
• Design and implement Oracle Data Guard (physical standby) for DR and failover.
• Perform schema upgrades for Oracle Communications Suite (Siebel 24.x, BRM 12.x, UIM).
• Optimize SQL queries, indexing, and database performance for transformed application stacks.
• Implement and maintain RMAN backup strategies, validation, and monitoring.
• Conduct AWR, ASH, and SQL tuning analysis to ensure post-upgrade performance.
• Define database standards and best practices across DEV → UAT → PROD environments.
• Collaborate with app teams, infrastructure, and project management on integration planning.
• Mentor mid-level DBAs and guide database change management activities.
