We are seeking an experienced Oracle Financial Functional Consultant to implement, configure, and support Oracle Financials applications in alignment with business processes. The role involves collaborating with finance teams, gathering requirements, and delivering Oracle ERP solutions that enhance accounting, compliance, and reporting functions. The ideal candidate has a strong finance / accounting background combined with in-depth knowledge of Oracle Financials modules.
- Implement and configure Oracle Financials modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management.
- Customize application setups and workflows to support business requirements.
- Support Oracle ERP upgrades, patches, and new module rollouts.
- Work with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document financial process requirements.
- Provide functional expertise to design solutions that align with accounting standards and compliance needs.
- Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop test plans and perform system testing for new implementations or enhancements.
- Validate financial transactions, workflows, and reporting outputs.
- Ensure system changes adhere to financial regulations and organizational policies.
- Provide ongoing functional support for Oracle Financials applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues in collaboration with technical teams.
- Train end-users and prepare user guides / documentation.
- Assist in developing financial reports using Oracle reporting tools (BI Publisher, OTBI, FRS, etc.).
- Support integrations between Oracle Financials and other business systems.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across financial applications.
- Stay updated on Oracle Financials features, updates, and best practices.
- Recommend enhancements to optimize financial system performance.
- Participate in audits and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
