Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst with strong proficiency in SQL and Python to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in data wrangling, building insightful reports, and supporting data-driven decision-making across business functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and transform structured and unstructured datasets from multiple sources.
  • Write complex SQL queries to extract, aggregate, and analyze large volumes of data.
  • Use Python for data manipulation, automation, and exploratory data analysis (EDA).
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Business, Engineering) to identify data requirements and KPIs.
  • Support data validation, quality checks, and governance practices.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in SQL (query optimization, joins, CTEs, window functions).
  • Knowledge / Experience in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib / Seaborn for analysis & visualization).
  • Experience working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.).
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and analytical solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.

  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
  • Exposure to ETL processes and data pipelines.
  • Knowledge of statistics and basic machine learning concepts.
